Greenland

This famous picture is a photo originally published on the 2010 June issue of National Geographic Magazine. The story behind the picture  was written by Mark Jenkins, Melt Zone and the photo was taken by James Balog. From reading the whole article, it is not clear to me where picture was taken, but I assume it was one of the photographs taken during their expedition which they set up camp 45 miles inland from the west coast village of Ilulissat.
